More Words From "Back East"

"…….and God saw The Light, that it was good" (Genesis 1:4; John 1:1-5).

This light could not have been the original light of Day One, since this was not created until the Fourth Day. Using the Hebrew Gematria system (the same system that is apparently used to "evaluate" the infamous 666 number in Revelation 13:18), the numbers of the Hebrew words used in Genesis 1:4 for "The Light" add up to 613.

There are considered to be 613 Laws or Commandments (as derived from the Decalogue spoken by God to Moses and then given to the people at Mt. Sinai) in the Torah. "The Light" referred to in Genesis 1:4 was instead "The Light" of God’s Eternal and Living Law (Torah).

The letters of one of the Hebrew words for "stable(s)," "manger(s)" or "stall(s)" also add up to 613 (2 Chronicles 32:28):

(NOTE: refer to previous tabulation in order to locate the appropriate letters that will add up to 613).

As it was, the Magi, seeing a great "Light" in the east, followed "the light" ---613---to a manger---613---- where they found Jesus, The Living Law(s) of Torah---613---Incarnate, and thus "THE LIGHT"---613----of the world (Matthew 2:1-11; John 8:12)

Saint Anthony of Padua, who was given the title "Ark of the Testament" because of his mastery of Scripture, also, has an interesting "613" connection. To find out more, click HERE for more information.
