Jesus: The "Mystical Eingedi"
Jesus is the Lamb of God. He is the True Passover Lamb
Instructions for the Passover called for a lamb to be taken from either the sheep or the goats. It had to be a male "of the first year" (Exodus 12:5)---in other words, relatively young.
Consider, now, that "Eingedi" means "Fountain of the Kid." The Hebrew word for "Kid" there means "kid of the flock," usually meaning a young goat.
Consider that Jesus is the real fountain of living, healing waters, and this True fountain of youth or "fortune" has been flowing ever since Calvary. Note that the stem (transliterated as "gdy") for the Hebrew word for "Kid"

Different words and translations notwithstanding, Jesus IS the real fountain of the kid, or True ("fortunate") fountain of fortune.
Every time we go into the presence of the Eucharist, we approach this fountain of living waters, this "fountain of youth," this fountain of (True) fortune.
We therefore go to the "mystical Eingedi," modeled after the actual Eingedi, where fresh water issues from a rock, watering the barren land around it, and emptying into (if not "healing") the Dead Sea.
Perhaps looking at things this way can clear up some potential geographical and logistical inconsistencies that would otherwise occur if Ezekiel 47 is to be evaluated literally (I’ll let you read it and try to see what I’m referring to).
This is not to say that something quite profound like what is described in Ezekiel 47 won’t happen at some point in the future, when there is one shepherd with one flock (ie, True diversity in unity) since with God, all things are possible (Luke 1:37). On the other hand, how un-profound is it that Jesus in the Eucharist, IS the True Fountain of Living Waters, the True Fountain of Youth, the True Fountain of Fortune, the "Mystical" if not True "Eingedi," Whose waters heal everyone and everything [ie, Has Mercy on us and on the whole world ---presumably all of creation, human and otherwise (Romans 8:19-23)] wherever HE IS right now (ie, Churches where the sacrifice on Calvary is re-presented, and where the Eucharist is thereafter exposed for adoration and healing---spiritual if not physical).
"When I am lifted up I will draw all peoples to me" (John 12:32)
In other words, True diversity exists only in Unity. As Jesus is lifted up on the Cross, with the Blood and Water issuing forth as the fountain of living, healing waters, such healing waters draw other living things to them, so they can be healed. This is alluded to in Ezekiel 47, where as many (types of) fishes as are known in the world (to represent all the peoples of the world) will come to live in waters that have been healed. (NOTE: This imagery further prefigured an ingathering or drawing in of people in the miraculous catch of 153 fish in John 21:11).
Thus is the Life at the "mystical Eingedi." Interestingly, at the actual Eingedi, there are, in addition to the oasis that has formed as a matter of course, two nature preserves, in which exotic plants from all over the world have thrived. Furthermore, many different species of birds stop at Eingedi while on their long distance migratory routes. People, also, come there, because the mud created by the highly-mineralized Dead Sea reportedly has therapeutic value.
