Jesus....wishes to establish in the World
devotion to my Immaculate Heart
Message to Lucia, June 13, 1917

What is interesting is that the message given by Our Lady of Fatima to Lucia was on the Feast Day of Saint Anthony of Padua, Patron of Portugal and also, of course, San Antonio, and the Archdiocese of San Antonio. The Parish Church in Fatima was also named for Saint Anthony of Padua. Because of the great, heart-deep affection people throughout the world have for Saint Anthony, he has been, at times, given the title "Saint of the Whole World."

Similarly, many people throughout the world have a special, heart-deep affection for the largest city in the world named for the Saint.

Somewhat ironically, back in 1996, promoters of the City circulated some bumper stickers with the phrase "Puro San Antonio," accompanied by a heart. What was rather interesting is that the bumper stickers, no matter how inadvertently, alluded to the phrase "Immaculate Heart," given that "Puro" (ie, "purely," or "pure"), can be another way of saying "immaculate." Perhaps this is merely putting a bunch of loose connections together, on my (Giles Babb's) part, that have no business going together; nevertheless, it was kind of interesting, and potentially (no matter how inadvertently) prophetic

Is there a special meaning, concerning the City and Archdiocese of San Antonio, in the message of June 13, 1917?? Do the City and Archdiocese have an important appointment with destiny w/r the spread of the devotion to the Immaculate Heart??

Even so, are we as yet up to this task??

Below are some pages at Eingedi that suggest both promise and peril.
